Founder & design director Omar Nakkash received his Bachelor’s degree in Design & Management from Parsons the New School for Design in New York. In 2012, he moved to Milan to complete graduate studies in Interior Design from Scuola Politecnica di Design. Shortly after, Omar moved back home to the U.A.E and founded Nakkash Design Studio.

Aya oversees strategic operations, business development, and client relations at Nakkash Design Studio. With over a decade of experience in marketing, management, and project coordination, she ensures the seamless delivery of high-profile projects while reinforcing the studio’s reputation for design excellence. Her expertise in strategic planning, supplier negotiations, and client management has been key to driving growth, building global partnerships, and aligning innovative design with operational excellence.

Sarah is the Design Manager at Nakkash Design Studio, bringing over 13 years of experience in architecture and interior design across the Middle East. She has led projects spanning private villas, offices, mixed-use developments, commercial spaces, and hospitality. Skilled in tackling complex design challenges and fostering collaboration among clients, contractors, and teams, Sarah ensures the successful delivery of innovative design solutions. She joined the studio in 2025 following extensive experience with leading regional firms.

Nour is an Architect and Interior Designer with over six years of experience across Egypt, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia. Before joining Nakkash in 2023, she worked at a leading design-and-build firm in Egypt, gaining expertise in managing projects from concept through execution. With a degree in Architectural Engineering, she blends technical precision with design sensitivity, delivering luxury residences, commercial spaces, restaurants, offices, co-working hubs, and heritage renovations. Her design-build background enhances her problem-solving and coordination skills, ensuring seamless project delivery.

Pamela is an Architect at Nakkash Design Studio with experience across the Middle East and internationally. Her portfolio includes private villas, luxury residences, F&B spaces, hospitality, retail, and high-profile brand events. She specializes in concept development, interior design, 3D visualization, and project coordination, ensuring design intent is carried seamlessly from concept to completion. Skilled in managing timelines, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams, Pamela brings strong expertise from her previous work with international design practices before joining the studio in 2024.

Aslam is a Draughtsman at Nakkash Design Studio with over six years of experience in architectural drafting, fit-out, and joinery across the UAE and India. He specializes in technical detailing, 3D visualization, and execution-ready shop drawings, ensuring design intent is accurately translated into high-quality outputs. Recognized for his precision and problem-solving skills, Aslam holds a Civil Draughtsmanship certification from NCVT along with specialized training in AutoCAD and 3Ds Max.

Jon has been an integral part of our team for 17 years, bringing extensive experience and deep expertise in FF&E coordination. Over his tenure, he has developed an exceptional understanding of our suppliers and the logistical processes that keep our operations running smoothly. Jon’s knowledge of sourcing, procurement, and delivery management ensures that projects are executed efficiently and on schedule. His longstanding relationships with suppliers and mastery of logistical coordination make him a trusted resource for both internal teams and external partners.
